VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We are looking for a variety of volunteers who are passionate about our Mission Statement, to Create and promote affordable housing solutions and support services that nurture individuals and families while encouraging self-sufficiency on the Western Slope of El Dorado County. Assist those who are experiencing unsheltered homelessness in our community.

Assist the Committee in coordinating advocacy efforts to increase Affordable Housing on the West Slope of El Dorado County.

Join a Committee

Organizational Development Committee

In some ways the most influential of all the committees, the Organizational Development Committee is responsible for the board’s goal setting. The Organizational Development Committee recruits and trains new board and committee members, as well as drives our messaging and communications.

Finance Committee

Committee members review meeting agendas and minutes, as well as financial statements provided to them to make recommendations as to financial planning, budgeting, and financial decision making for the organization.

Land Trust Committee

The Land Bank and Community Land Trust Committee leads and coordinates development of the Community Land Trust of El Dorado County and the El Dorado County Community Land Bank. Committee members are expected to monitor HED Housing programming, search for advocacy opportunities, and advocate in the community for housing affordability.

Affordable Housing Committee

The Affordable Housing Committee leads and coordinates housing advocacy efforts to increase funding for sustainability and housing production programs creating and preserving low-income housing. In addition to meetings, committee members are expected to search for advocacy opportunities, and advocate in the community for housing affordability.
